Pricilla Reyna-Vasquez, PhD, LPC-S, NCC, RPT-S™, BC-TMH

Hi! I'm Dr. Priscilla Reyna-Vasquez, and I serve as the TxAPT Regional Liaison for West Texas, South Texas, and San Antonio. I'm also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Services at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX. Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, my career has included being a clinical director for an outpatient mental health hospital program, as well as working in various community mental health settings, including private practice.

I've had the opportunity to present locally, nationally, and internationally on topics such as TeleMental Health in Counseling, Play Therapy, Teleplay Therapy, and Expressive Techniques in Counseling. I currently serve on the APT Ethics Committee and am proud to be a graduate of the APT Leadership Academy class of 2020.

Outside of work, I cherish my time with my daughter and husband and enjoy traveling, golfing, and playing!

As Regional Liaison, I act as a bridge between the chapters and the Board, while also chairing the Chapter Liaison and Continuing Education Committee.
