Lisa Remey, MEd, LPC-S, RPT-S™, NCC

Hello TxAPT! I am Lisa Remy, and I'm thrilled to serve as Past President for the 2024-2025 term and to continue working alongside this amazing board! I'm the owner of Bluebonnet Center for Play Therapy in New Braunfels, where we provide play therapy services to families with children from infancy through adolescence. As a retired military family, my husband and I are excited to settle down and plant roots in one place.

This year is particularly special for my family as Bob and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and we're also eagerly looking forward to our son's wedding! We have a daughter attending Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and with all these personal milestones, 2024 promises to be a memorable year.

As Past President, I serve as an advisor to the President and Board of Directors. I'm also a proud member of the Finance Committee and chair both the Elections and Research and Awards Committees. I am excited to see what this year brings as we work on reopening chapters and planning another outstanding conference.
