Hello, I'm Dr. Ahou Vaziri Line, co-founder of Thread Counseling Group in Dallas, and I'm honored to serve as Secretary of TxAPT. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified School Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, and a Certified Child-Centered Play Therapy Supervisor. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of working as an author, speaker, and former graduate professor.I've authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters that focus on supporting parents, Middle Eastern children and families, and helping preservice educators incorporate counseling skills into their teaching. I've also had the opportunity to present at various local, state, national, and international conferences on topics such as teacher and parent support, as well as multicultural considerations in play therapy.

As TxAPT Secretary, I'm excited to continue contributing to the play therapy community and supporting the board in its mission to advance our profession.
