Celebrating Play Therapy Supervisors: Using the Sandtray in Play Therapy Supervision

Linda Homeyer, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S
Let’s celebrate our role in developing the next generation of play therapists! An important part of supervision is personal, as well as professional, growth. Sand tray provides the supervisor with an opportunity to provide supervisees a means through which to explore clients, session dynamics, and themselves, with the opportunity to look at possible underlying feelings and issues surrounding clients and self. This workshop will provide examples of sand tray’s use for specific purposes within the supervision relationship. Bring 10 or so miniature figures along with you so we can play as well!
